Gorkamorka kommishun - late and exhausted

Ha! Puns. A very small update today, not a lot of progress to show due to various unforeseen circumstances. Did most of the work on exhausts of the 2nd engine, all the pipes, tubes, welds and all. Since that is done, I can proceed with figuring out the layout of the rollcage and integrating the front with the back in a more coherent flowy way.


Once again, apologies for mediocre photo quality.

Here's a frontal shot, showing the mufflers (or loudnerz, har har) The big single one needs a small sidepipe to help with the symmetry a bit.


And the engine removed from the trukk. Everything's pretty much test-fitted for now and can be taken apart. Blue pipes come in pairs, glued and greenstuffed together, yellow pipes are glued to the loudners, the plasticard manifolds are just barely tacked on with a hint of glue.

  1. That engine is just awesome! Why have one when you can have two...why one supercharger when two is four times as good! Ork logic :)

  2. I really love your GoMo stuff here. I can't wait to see it painted and on the board. Question: where did you get those yellow and blue tubes? I really need something like that for some of my conversions.

    1. Cheers! Those are just regular electrical cables: http://puu.sh/ktAUa.png You can get them in a bunch of different sizes in whatever DIY/home improvement/electrical stores you have in your area I guess. I use them both with and without the insulation, depending on what I'm going for, as seen on the nob bikes. They're usually less complicated to get into shape than plasticard rods that need heating and stuff, are quite sturdy and add nice bulk to the model.
